Build-a-Bar Tasting Experience

Take a unique peek behind the scenes of one of Portland's very own award-winning chocolate makers. This is approximately a 1.5-hour informative class by one of our chocolate makers.

As a favorite Portland foodie experience, you will learn where chocolate comes from and how we make it here at Creo. Each participant creates their own personalized chocolate bar, starting with white, milk (46%) or dark (73%) chocolate as their base. Then they choose whatever toppings and seasonings they'd like, before sealing and packaging them to take home.

Please note: we will provide a hairnet for you to wear. Experiences are appropriate for children 8+ years old. Tickets are required for all participants, including children. Infants may accompany adults in a baby sling.

Build-a-Bar Team Building Experience

Are you looking for a unique and tasty team building activity? Here is an opportunity for your team to create something delicious together. We offer private versions of our wildly popular Build-a-Bar chocolate tasting experience. Your team will connect amidst the smell of roasting chocolate at our Chocolate Lab, don hairnets and aprons, and learn everything there is to know about how we craft Portland’s most award-winning chocolate. Peek behind-the-scenes as your team tastes their way through our chocolates and creatively design their own personalized chocolate bar to take home.

Tasting experiences are led by our owner and last approximately 90 minutes, featuring a multimedia presentation of the story behind our chocolate. This is a great icebreaker activity and opportunity for team bonding and creativity.
